Boys Varsity Track
The boys track team earned some incredible results in a tough loss to Pennridge on Tuesday. Senior Holden Emery ran the second-fasted 800 split in CB East history with a time of 1:53.60 in the 4x800. Senior Marcos Lopez finished second in the 100 with the third-fastest FAT time in CB East history at 10.95 and junior Evan Clark entered the top ten list with a third-place finish of 11.21. Senior Kyle Dunigan won the pole vault and is now tied for 21st all-time in school history.
Junior Nik Ventura secured first in the triple jump with a personal best of 40’4”. Seniors Ethan Evans and Andrew Shea each cleared 5’10” in the high jump. Senior Austin Hicks earned second in the mile with a time of 4:55.80 and junior Owen Carter earned second in the 3200 with a time of 10:45.07. Junior Noah Wilson snagged third in the shot put with another throw over 40 feet and senior Luke Blackwell finished second in the javelin with a personal best of 123’2” while junior Matt Patrick finished third with a personal best of 112’2”. Freshmen Mike Steitz edged out the competition at the line to follow Lopez and Clark to a sweep of the 400. In total, the team had 48 personal records!
